Making Disclosure A Reality For Healthcare Organizations

Plaintiff's Lawyers, Disclosure Programs, and Compensation: November 1st Webinar

Plaintiff's Lawyers, Disclosure Programs, & Compensation for Larger Cases: November 1st Webinar

Earlier this year, several news stories raised eyebrows when it was reported that Baltimore-area hospitals are referring patients and families to plaintiff's attorneys as part of their disclosure and apology programs. The plaintiff's attorneys on the referral list are familiar with the disclosure efforts of the Baltimore hospitals. In statements to the media, the hospitals said they are more comfortable negotiating and settling larger value cases if patients/families are represented by experienced counsel. Now, here is your chance to hear from a risk manager and plaintiff's attorney involved in the Baltimore experience.

Learning to work with the plaintiff's bar is an essential element to any successful disclosure program. Allowing patient/families to be represented by counsel enhances the credibility of your disclosure program. In fact, you can use disclosure program to change your relationship with the personal injury bar.

Sorry Works! is proud to offer a November 1st webinar featuring two individuals involved in the Baltimore experience: Larry Smith, JD, Vice President of MedStar Health and Brian Nash, JD, local plaintiff's attorney on the disclosure program referral list.   Sorry Works! Founder Doug Wojcieszak will moderate the webinar.  Listen in and learn critical advice and tips from your colleagues in Baltimore who are making disclosure work in a credible manner for patients, families, and clinicians.
